After Installing RCD330 On VW Cars Producted Before 2009,you need to purchase an adaptor cable(Big plug),otherwise the battery will leak, which may cause your car fail to start, if you need an adaptor cable, please contact us.
If your car model has 8 buttons MFSW before 2009. It cannot be used with RCD330 plus, so you need to purchase a CANBUS emulator adapter. All bottons can work, and can solve the problem of battery consumption, if you need an adaptor cable, please contact us.
If your model before 2009 does not have any MFSW, you only need to replace the gateway to reduce battery consumption. Most PQ35 and PQ46 platform vehicles can be successfully used (Volkswagen Motor Company 2006-2009). If you don't want to try, you can directly choose CANBUS simulator.
If your car is a Polo 6C (2014-2017) with RCD330 Plus installed, you need to purchase an MQB to PQ adapter and frame panel. Polo (2014~2017) is not a real MQB.
If your original host is RCD510 or RNS315 or RNS510 with a factory rear view camera, you can continue to use it by installing RGB to the CVBS adapter.
If your car is of the following styles, you need to purchase an MQB to PQ adapter to install it. They are not real MQB
Passat (2016-2018)
Jetta (2016-2018)
Beetle (2016-2019)
Tiguan (2016-2017)

If your car has MFSW with 12 buttons or 6 buttons, you can install RCD330 Plus directly without any other adapters, decoders or simulators. Plug and play, it has no battery drain problem.
If your original host is RCD510 or RNS315 or RNS510, you can directly replace them with RCD330 plus, plug and play, it will not waste battery.
