    Description

    BID IS FOR THE HORSE HEAD HITCHING POST ONLY.. This is a cast iron horse head hitching post.  looks like one  layer of paint being black. The post  condition is as pictured. One ear has a piece chipped off.  Look at the pictured and feel free to ask questions. The age is unknown but I do know they exceed 50 plus years old. I have two of these I'm listing. One tree and one horse. Both originally from the same location.
    The post is 50" tall,  8" from tip of nose to back of the mane. The weight is a whopping 75 lbs. Makes me think early early heavy cast iron. It's all one casting. Got a pic from the original location sitting in front of the barn and some pics along side the other one I'm selling.
