    Description

    Atq Wood Turned Solid Maple COLUMN NEWEL Porch POST Architectural Salvage 49”. Tall the round at bottom is 2.75” it has damage as chips missing could be cut off would make it about 47” tall the square part Is 4 5/8” thick This Newell post come off of an antique rope bed it is solid maple with a curly or tiger maple post where the square part is it has an acorn top on it it has its original finish you could see some of the bubbling and cracking of the finish you can see the holes where they hand forged bolts held it together please look at the pictures on this piece there is no rot could easily be cut down for a porch post or a staircase post or even leave as is please look at pictures to determine condition for yourself please ask any questions this is a thick piece there will be no refund on salvage merchandise as it is salvage and not perfect
