Great for a recreational or beginning skater.
These skates are the molded or hard-boot type
, not soft boot, recommended for beginners or for those who prefer the much greater support. Before your first time out, you should rotate the wheels (simple and easy to do with the included wrench, just look up instructions online) and do some basic cleaning and maintenance to make sure the skates, and in particular the bearings, are in tip top shape.
Condition notes:
Overall, they look in very good condition, with some typical scuffs and scratches. The wheels show some wear, look like they are due to be rotated, with the rear wheel showing the most wear, and the front wheel looking lightly worn, so I would say there's quite a lot of skate time left in them. The ends of the ratcheting straps closest to the toes are a little scraped up at the ends, I don't think the "teeth" would grab all the way to the end, but it is doubtful that any user would need that set of straps to go all the way to the end...take a look at the pics and see what you think.
