Here is a commemorative studio button made by artist Joan Lindsay to  observe the 100th anniversary of Iowa's statehood.  It is a wood button with a peg shank topped with polymer clay other material embellishment, and decorated with ink. The hand drawn design is of Iowa's old capital, and it features verbal elements as well. Signed and identified on the back.   It measures just under 1-1/2" in diameter: NBS size large.  It is in excellent condition. A very unique button --I'm sure very few were made.
